Compute4Change
crystal (thats me!) stepped up as a co-maintainer of Compute4Change! I have been contributing compute power to the BOINC projects under C4C for a while now, so having me as co-maintainer will finally make things official. (yay! ^^)
For the September sprint: we crunched 188k credits for NFS@home, thank you for your participation!
App Localization
Thanks to PPNPlus’s efforts, NeoStumbler (an Android application designed for mapping wireless infrastructure for geolocation purposes) is now available in the Thai language! We welcome others to join us in the localization of good FOSS applications into Thai. See the project list under our direct management, or bring your own project to localize.
External contributions
Late Night Defender has filed an issue for Nextcloud Deck as she wasn’t able to undo a Deck card deletion. It’s now fixed by another contributor!
Miscellaneous
Late Night Defender has wrote a blog post detailing how she upgraded the TechTransThai Meilisearch instance, used by our Sharkey instance, running in a Podman Quadlet. Read the post here on the TechTransThai blog.
We need your help
TechTransThai is the work of contributors helping in their free time using their own small budgets, and as we are running low on available contributors, we are being stretched thin. If you like what we do, please consider:
- Joining our chats and say hi, to signal that our projects matter to you.
- Contributing to our projects listed on the website, or reviving archived ones.
- Spreading the word!
That’s all!
That’s what we’ve been up to for now. Stay tuned for our next blog post via RSS or Telegram!
